AUBURN — After a 2-2 deadlock at the half, Jack Ouellette found the net with four minutes left in regulation to give St. Dom’s a 3-2 boys’ soccer win over Sacopee Valley on Friday.

Alex Roy and Francisco Redondo scored for the Saints (2-4) in the first half, while Kristopher Fossum and Cam Bibro each tallied for Sacopee Valley.

Matt Gosselin made seven saves for St. Dom’s, while Ryan Meggison turned aside 14 shots between the posts for Sacopee Valley.

Lewiston 2, Camden Hills 2 (2OT)

CAMDEN — Sophomore forward Bilal Hersi earned a goal and an assist as Lewiston played to a 2-2 double-overtime tie with Camden in boys’ soccer action Friday afternoon.

Senior forward Ben Owry tied the game for the Windjammers with 1:39 remaining in regulation following a disputed foul.

Camden goalie Lucas Boetch made three incredible stops in the opening minutes of the second half to bolster the Windjammers down the stretch.

Goalie Cooper Millett made eight saves for the Blue Devils, while Boetch had 15 for Camden.

Oak Hill 1, Spruce Mountain 0

JAY — After a scoreless first half, Vinny Rinaldi found the net at the 19:43 mark to give Oak Hill a 1-0 boys’ soccer victory over Spruce Mountain.

The Raiders outshot their opponents 6-3 in the contest.

Cole Whitten needed only two saves to notch the shutout, while Andrew Shaw turned aside five shots for the Phoenix.

Field hockey

Dirigo 5, Oak Hill 4 (2OT)

LITCHFIELD — Sophia Jacques scored four goals, including the game-winner, in double overtime as Dirigo edged Oak Hill 5-4 in field hockey action Friday afternoon.

The Raiders (4-5) were trailing 3-0 when they rattled off four consecutive goals. Senior forward Maegan Sheehy contributed two goals and an assist for Oak Hill.

Following a free kick and a delfection, Jacques netted the goal from top of the circle.

Goalie MacKenzie Thibault made 12 saves for Oak Hill, while goalie Morgan Morrow turned back 12 shots for Dirigo in the winning effort.

Winthrop 10, Telstar 0

BETHEL — Moriah Hajduk led a group of seven players to record goals on Friday as Winthrop overpowered Telstar 10-0 in a mid-season field hockey matchup.

Hajduk led the undefeated Ramblers (8-0) with a hat trick, while Kinli Dibiase scored two goals. Single tallies from Gia Fransic, Katie Perkins, Nora Conrad, Sidney Harrison and Kerrigan Anuszewski completed the scoring.

Aive Agri didn’t need a single save to earn the shutout, while Perry Morton deflected 25 shots between the posts for Telstar (0-9).

St. Dom’s 10, Old Orchard Beach 0

OLD ORCHARD BEACH — St. Dom’s jumped out to a commanding 6-0 advantage in the first half and never eased off the gas, racing away to a 10-0 rout over Old Orchard Beach in another local field hockey tilt Friday.

Hannah Trottier-Braun led the undefeated Saints (8-0) with four goals, while Paige Cote had a hat trick with three assists. Kylie Leavitt chipped in with two goals, while a single goal from Callie Samson completed the scoring.

Abby Slonina needed only two saves to preserve the shutout, while Leah Green turned aside 29 shots for the Seagulls (2-6).

Girls’ soccer

Winthrop 6, Dirigo 0

DIXFIELD — Sierra Huff and Pearl Bechard each netted two goals Friday to propel Winthrop to a 6-0 mid-season girls’ soccer victory over Dirigo.

Madison Moore and Abby Shumway also tallied for the Ramblers (4-4) to complete the scoring.

Brooke Burnham needed only two saves to notch the shutout, while Katie Moore deflected 18 shots for the Cougars (0-7-1).

Oak Hill 3, Spruce Mountain 0

JAY — After a scoreless first half, Oak Hill got its offense in gear and raced away to a 3-0 mid-season girls’ soccer win over Spruce Mountain.

Rylee Mae Swan scored a pair of goals to lead the Raiders, while Sydney Drew also tallied.

Anna Dodge made three saves to record the shutout, while Annabelle Collins turned aside nine shots for Spruce Mountain.

Mt. Blue 2, Edward Little 1 (OT)

FARMINGTON — Junior midfielder Ace Provencher redirected the ball out of a scramble and into the back of the cage in overtime as Mt. Blue downed Edward Little, 2-1, in girls’ soccer action Friday afternoon.

Senior striker Piper Norcross evened up the contest at 1-1 in the second half for the Red Eddies (3-3-1).

Goalie Taylor Depot made six saves for Edward Little, while goalie Mackenzie Libby fended off nine to earn the win in net for the Cougars (2-4-1).

College volleyball

Bates 3, Colby 0

WATERVILLE — Taylor Stafford-Smith finished with 13 kills and 11 defensive digs as Bates snared all three sets in tight fashion in a 3-0 triumph over Colby in volleyball action Friday evening.

The Bobcats (4-5) won by set scores of 26-24, 26-24 and 25-21.

The Mules (2-6) had a set point with a 24-23 lead in the opening set. But, Bates scored the final three points to pull out the vicotry.

Angel Echipue had a kill for point 25 and Ruby Lightbourn closed out the set with an ace.
