CHESTERVILLE — A  lawn mower ride will be held Saturday, Sept. 30, in memory of Robert “Bob” Clough Jr.

Clough died in August when he fell off a bridge while camping at Natanis Point Campground off Route 27 in northern Franklin County.

Clough loved to drive his lawn tractor. He mowed lawns and drove the cow train at L. Herbert ‘Bussie’ York’s corn maize. Shortly before his death, Bob drove the cow train for the first Chesterville Family Fun Day held in years.

The ride will begin at noon from his home, 383 Pope Road, and end at the Chesterville Town Hall. Anyone with a lawn tractor is invited to join.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 1 p.m. at the town hall.
