PAL selling tickets for Bruins alumni game
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Police Athletic League is selling tickets for its annual benefit hockey game when the Boston Bruins alumni will play the Police All Stars.
The game will be played at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee, 190 Birch St.
Lewiston PAL serves Androscoggin County by providing funding and support for various youth athletic programs.

Crafters sought for fair
LEWISTON — Russell Park Rehabilitation & Living Center has craft tables available for the annual Christmas craft fair that will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27 and 28.
The cost is $15 a table, and the proceeds from renting tables go to the Residents’ Activity Fund.

History Barn open house planned
NEW GLOUCESTER — The monthly New Gloucester History Barn open house will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 7, at 383 Intervale Road, Route 231.
There will be local area history exhibits. The open house is free and open to the public.
Drumming group making a beat
LEWISTON — The Hand Drumming Group plays from 1 to 3 p.m. on the second Sunday of the month at Trinity Church, 247 Bates St.
All levels and styles of drummers can play, and they can bring their own instrument or try one of the club’s drums. The cost to play is by donation.
Legion offering blood drive
LISBON FALLS — Post 66, American Legion, will sponsor an American Red Cross blood drive from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, at the Holy Trinity Parish Hall, 67 Frost Hill Ave.

Cribbage league to play
LEWISTON — Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League plays Thursdays at the Lewiston Memorial Armory, 65 Central Ave.
Doors open at 8 a.m., and games will begin at 9 a.m.
The league plays through April, but games are played year-round.
