JAY — Police charged a local teenager Wednesday night with throwing a rock through Regional School Unit 73 bus windows Tuesday on Macomber Hill Road in North Jay.
The 16-year-old boy accused of throwing the rock was issued a summons on charges of criminal mischief and assault, Police Chief Richard Caton IV said.
The rock broke two windows and hit a 9-year-old girl on the bus in the head, according to Caton.
