GREENE — Robin Williams’ film Biblical Treasures of Turkey Pt. 2 will be appearing at the Araxine Wilkins Sawyer Memorial, 371 Sawyer Rd. for the final show of the season at 2 and 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20. After the show, there will be an ice cream social to celebrate the end of the 2017 season of programs.

Explore the Roman Empire in Asia and trace the journeys of St. Paul. Although the Apostle Paul made three journeys through Asiatic Turkey (Anatolia), the first journey has always been regarded as the “toughest” journey. This feature documentary captures fascinating details of Paul’s first journey along riverside trails, breathtaking city sites and Roman highways.

This new film takes the audience on a journey that will be familiar from their school days and especially their Sunday school  education. St. John and the Virgin Mary lived in Anatolia until the end of their lives. An abundance of historical and biblical accounts are told throughout this program.

Biblical Treasures of Turkey Part Two delights the audience with its exhilarating scenery and historical events that everybody has heard about, but has no idea where these sites were located or what they looked like.

The film is scored to hauntingly beautiful music and includes a complete range of the natural sounds of nature.
