This is in response to Cathy Crowley’s letter to the editor (Oct. 5) about wind towers in the Greenwood area. I feel the same way she does — I am very much against it.

When I was growing up, Greenwood was my second home because I had so many relatives and friends up there. Many times I would sit up in the fields of the farm that my cousin owned and look off onto Patch Mountain and the surrounding mountains and appreciate the beautiful view that I had from up there. I would hate awfully to see that beautiful scenery destroyed by wind towers.

I hope others feel the same way.
