Holly Lasagna, of Auburn, has been serving our community for many years, including being an elected Charter Commission member.
Her educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Brown University and a Master’s Degree in leadership studies from USM. She is presently employed with Healthy Androscoggin as health promotion manager/REACH program. Prior to this position, she served as associate director for community-engaged learning at the Harward Center for Community Partnerships.
I have served on a few committees in Lewiston and Auburn with her and found her to be a very intelligent and thoughtful person. She is committed and passionate about the area we live in and the people.
I hope others will join me in voting for Holly Lasagna for Auburn City Council, Ward 1. She will represent the residents of the ward very well.
Donna Steckino, Auburn

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
