7. Leavitt (6-0)

Hornets have checked off all of their challengers in C South in the regular season. Now, they head North for a statement game at Mount Desert Island.

Pass defense needs to improve for Yachtsmen to break up Marshwood/Kennebunk dominance of B South in playoffs.

9. Messalonskee (4-2)

Senior fullback Austin Pelletier continued to make his Fitzy case with 256 yards rushing and a game-clinching interception vs. Brewer last week.

10. Lawrence (4-2)

A showdown with Messalonskee for top seed in B North looms, but Bulldogs have to get by high-powered Skowhegan first.
