RICHMOND — Noah Wiley recorded a pair of goals as Buckfield edged Richmond 3-2 in boys’ soccer action Tuesday afternoon.

Dakota Gilpatrick gave the Bobcats (13-1) a 2-1 lead early in the second half.

But Wiley scored a penalty kick to make it 2-2, and scored again five minutes later to give the Bucks (13-1) a 3-2 led with 25 minutsleft in the game.

Richmond outshot Buckfield 11-5, but the Bucks were a bit more accurate in securing goals. Goalie Trystin Shea made three saves for Richmond, while goalie Rick Kraske stopped 13 to earn the win in net for Buckfield.

North Yarmouth Academy 2, St. Dom’s 1

AUBURN — Alasdair Swett registered the game-winning goal as North Yarmouth Academy dispatched St. Dom’s in boys’ soccer action Tuesday afternoon.

The Panthers (4-9-1) scored first, taking a 1-0 lead at the half on a Ryan Baker tally.

The Saints (3-11) got on the board midway through the second half when Ethan Bosse found the back of the net.

Goalie Matt Gosselin made five saves for St. Dom’s, while goalie Connor Clock repelled seven to earn the win in net for North Yarmouth Academy.

Greely 1, Gray-New Gloucester 0 (2OT)

GRAY — Senior midfielder Quinn Malloy scored with 2:03 remaining in double overtime to lift Greely to a 1-0 victory over Gray-New Gloucester in boys’ soccer action Tuesday afternoon.

The Rangers (8-5-1) and Patriots (4-9-1) played evenly throughout.

Goalie Brannon Gilbert made nine saves for Gray-New Gloucester, while goalie Brandon George cast aside four shots to earn the win in net for Greely.

Field hockey

Skowhegan 11, Edward Little 0

SKOWHEGAN — Maliea Kelso scored a hat trick to lead Skowhegan to an 11-0 victory over Edward Little in Class A quarterfinal field hockey action Tuesday afternoon.

The Indians (14-1) were prolific on offense, outshooting the Red Eddies (5-10) by a margin of 31-3 in the contest. Julia Steeves, Alexis Michonski and Kayla Furbush provided two goals each for Skowhegan.

Goalie Elise Syphers made 10 saves for Edward Little, while goalie Leah Savage stopped three to earn the win in net for Skowhegan.

Girls’ soccer

Winslow 2, Maranacook 0

WINSLOW — Ashley Quirion tagged the eventual game winning goal in the first half as Winslow secured a 2-0 victory over Maranacook in girls’ soccer action Tuesday afternoon.

The Raiders (11-2-1) went up 2-0 at the 24:37 mark of the second half when Alexa Petrovic converted a pass from Katie Doughty.

Goalie Skyeler Webb made seven saves for the Black Bears (6-4-4), while goalie Broghan Gagnon turned away two to earn the win in net for Winslow.
