This is in response to Steven Swan’s letter (Oct. 18).
Manipulated by the corporate elite? Seriously? Where is there any more “corporate eliteness” than in the current White House staff? President Donald Trump has surrounded himself with the corporate elite. Together, they have enough money to support the entire country.
Maybe Swan should read the book “Dark Money”, which describes the corporate elite in minute detail.
Regarding Sen. John McCain, Sen. Susan Collins and Sen. Angus King: thanks to each of them for standing up for the real American people — those of us who are low and middle income — instead of the corporate elite that Swan thinks the public should be supporting.
I think he needs to take a look at who Trump’s tax plan is supporting and who will have the best medical insurance. You guessed it — the corporate elite and the billionaires.
