LEWISTON — Timothy J. Treadwell, 55, of Third St., New Auburn, died Saturday, Oct. 21, at Central Maine Medical Center with his children at his side.

He was born in Bangor on Sept. 8, 1962, a son of Frederick and Ruth (Sirois) Treadwell. He was educated in local schools and graduated from Edward Little High School Class of 1981.

Tim worked as a printer for many years working for Minuteman Press and Falcon Press. For the past two years he was working for L&A Cab. Tim was an exceptional guitar player and loved to play every chance he got. In high school he played with The Toys and years later they reformed to call themselves Unexpected Company. Tim had many friends and loved to socialize, his favorite hangout was The Cage.

Tim is survived by his mother, Ruth Treadwell of Fla.; his daughter, Kristin Poussard and her husband, Preston, of Lewiston; a son, Matthew Treadwell of Turner; his grandson, Corbin Poussard; two sisters, Debbie Johnson and Rhonda Hartwick, both of Fla.; two brothers, Joe Treadwell of Fla. and Denny Treadwell and his wife, Cindy, of Gray; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Frederick; a sister, Patty Carrol; and a niece, Alyssa Price.

The family would like to extend a huge thank you to the entire Oncology and ICU staff at CMMC for the exceptional care given to Tim over the last eight months.
