Democrat, Republican, independent — makes no difference in this election. Lewiston needs the best possible candidate to represent the city as mayor.
I know Mark Cayer as a proven, experienced, dedicated leader, as a former city councilor, as council president, always working to make our city a better place to educate and live, working for all citizens.
I have read his economic development plan (as everyone should before the vote). He is the only candidate with a plan to make Lewiston a better place for all its citizens.
He has a proven record of working with all sides in open discussions, respecting everyone’s opinions and able to compromise in order to solve issues to best serve the interest of every citizen and not just special interest groups.
As a former mayor, I understand the challenges that comes with the office. Mark Cayer is the only candidate who is up to those challenges.
