I am writing in support of my friend Ben Chin for mayor of Lewiston.

I have known Chin to be a strong advocate for the people of the community. He recognizes that when one of us struggles, we all suffer.

He is not afraid to speak truth to power. He is working to address homelessness and unsafe housing conditions. He challenges us all to recognize the areas where we need to do better.

He continues to work on health care, education and fair-wage jobs. His insight, vision and plans are a source of inspiration. He is persistent in his pursuit of justice.

Lewiston has benefited from his efforts. He puts his heart and soul into helping others. He impresses me with his deep understanding of many issues.

I will gratefully vote for Ben Chin. He is a vital part of a solution. He represents Lewiston’s greatest potential
