THURSDAY, Nov. 9
LEWISTON — Lewiston Youth Advisory Council will highlight its findings about the positive aspects of the city in “The New Lewiston,” 6:30 to 8 p.m., Lewiston City Council Chambers. Activities include “What Do You Know About Lewiston?” and local trivia. The LYAC hopes to inspire those attending to be cheerleaders for their city.
LEWISTON –– Journalist and author Warren Watson, and Maine journalist Bill Nemitz, will present a book talk from Watson’s newest work, “Claire and Charlie: An Unlikely Wartime Love Story,” 6 p.m., Lewiston Public Library’s Callahan Hall. The program is presented by the Friends of LPB, part of their annual meeting program, open to public.
