WILTON — A public hearing on the $150,000 Community Development Block Grant for facade improvements will take place Tuesday before the selectpersons regular meeting.
The hearing begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Wilton Public Safety building because elections are being held at the Town Office that day.
The grant is intended to help individual businesses in the downtown district who are interested in making changes to their buildings’ facades. Each business would need to front half of the costs and the grant would cover the rest.
The money was approved at a special town meeting, but the required public hearing was not held, Town Manager Rhonda Irish said.
