A Buckfield woman was taken to Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway on Monday with injuries that are not life-threatening. Police say Ashley Fillmore, 28, drove off a small bridge on Buckfield Road in Paris. Police Officer Nick Gilbert said Fillmore was driving east on Buckfield Road when her Dodge Durango veered into the shoulder of the road. Fillmore said she overcorrected and cut the wheel back too hard, which caused her vehicle to crash through a guardrail and fall into a stream. Gilbert said that due to weather conditions at the time, it was “hard to tell exactly what happened.” No charges are expected. (Chuck Blaquiere photo)
