More than 350 students from around the state met for the 2017 Maine Junior Classical League Fall Convention on Friday, Nov. 3 at Leavitt Area High School. Special guest speaker was Timothy Han, National Junior Classical League officer, who traveled from Philips Exeter Academy to attend. Two league state officers, Chloe Veilleux, president, and Ryan Pratt, first vice president, attend Leavitt. Han said, “My friends, Latin lives. Latin lives and it lives in you and it lives in me.”
