AUBURN — “Come inside and play!” – Ingersoll Turf Facility has announced that registration is open for girls’ indoor softball until Nov. 26. This is the first year this is being offered to girls in the area, and the preliminary games that have been played have proven to be a lot of fun. The games will be limited to approximately 75 minutes and use an Easton Incrediball – Softstitch Training Ball. It’s a fast-paced game, whereby the bases are closer together and balls can be caught off the ceiling net for an out. Divisions include 16-14U, 12U, 10U and 8U. The games are scheduled to be played on Saturday afternoons starting in January, registration closes Nov. 26 as assessments are Dec. 2 and 9.
