FARMINGTON — Police have charged a juvenile employee at Wal-Mart with the theft of more than $1,000.

Security personnel at the store noticed some shortages from this employee’s cash register, Bonnie Pomeroy, office manager at Farmington Police Department, read from the police report.

They confronted the employee and she admitted to taking money over the past few weeks, according to Sgt. Michael Adcock’s report. The amount was just over $1,000, Pomeroy said.
