Lighting of ‘Tiny Timber’
NEW GLOUCESTER — The annual lighting of “Tiny Timber,” New Gloucester’s holiday tree, will take place at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, at the Town Hall, 385 Intervale Road, Route 231.
There will be holiday music, open houses and refreshments. The public is invited.
Relative to talk on Paris Manufacturing
HEBRON — Peggy Stires, great-granddaughter of the Paris Manufacturing founder, will speak on the company at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, to the Hebron Historical Society.
The meeting will be held at the Town Office, 351 Paris Road. The public is invited.
Tri-Town Penguins to meet
DURHAM — The Tri-Town Penguins Snowmobile Club of Durham, Freeport and Pownal will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the Durham Fire Station, 615 Hallowell Road.
The club meets on last Tuesday of each month from September to April. New members are welcome.

Library offers card making class
LEWISTON — Lewiston Public Library will host a card-making event from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, at the library.
Community members are invited to create their own winter or holiday themed cards. The library will provide the blank cards and envelopes as well as some ideas to get participants started and lots of options for decoration.
The event is open to teens and adults only. Registration is recommended as supplies are limited.
