LEWISTON — Gloria F. Frazer, 83, a resident of Livermore, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, at Marshwood Nursing Home in Lewiston, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Oct. 18, 1934, in North Turner, the daughter of Roy Timberlake and Edna (Martin) Timberlake. She was a graduate of Leavitt Institute in Turner. On May 14, 1977, she married William Frazer.

In her early years, Gloria worked as a certified nurse assistant at Green Acres Manor in Greene, and she packed apples at L/P Farms in Turner. She later went to work for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1996 as postmaster of the East Dixfield Post Office. Following her retirement she worked for several years at McDonald’s Restaurant in Jay. For those of you who travel Route 4, you would often see Gloria walking her daily 5-mile walk between Livermore and North Turner. She enjoyed bowling, golf, going to the casinos, watching her grandchildren play sports and watching the Red Sox and Celtics.

She is survived by her husband, William Frazer, of Livermore; her daughters, Deborah Hancock and her husband, Joe of Livermore, Faye Bellefleur and her husband, Robert of Madison, Edna Morris and her companion, David Tremblay of Turner; her sons, Edwin “Butch” Keene Jr. and his fiancée, Sarah Curtis of North Turner, Kenneth Keene and his wife, Shawn of Livermore and Gregory Keene of Lewiston; stepsons, Russell Frazer and his companion, Jen of Turner, Scott Frazer of Lewiston, Timothy Frazer of New Albany, Ind., and Christopher Frazer of Lewiston; 11 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
