LEWISTON — Norman Roger Labrecque, 75, of 23 Spofford St., died Thursday, Nov. 23, at his home after a long illness.
He was born Jan. 9, 1942, in Van Buren, a son of Claude Labrecque and Flavie Thibodeau Labrecque. Early on, Roger proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and later in life held several different jobs, including local police officer and grounds maintenance for Bates College.
In addition to his parents, Norm was predeceased by brothers, Donald, Ronald “Jim” and Bertrand Labrecque; and two infant sisters.
He is survived by his daughters, Angela Maurice of Lewiston, Barbara Gilbert of Saco, Janetlee Dutterer of Greenwood; sister, Mildred Gagnon of Durham; brother, Roderick Labrecque of Palm Springs, Calif.; as well as several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
