SOUTH PARIS — Bruce Philip Skinner, 67, of Norway, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 30, at the Maine Veterans Home, with his family by his side.

He was born in Lewiston on May 18, 1950, the son of Philip Leroy and Elizabeth Rebecca McAllister Skinner. He graduated from Oxford Hills High School in the Class of 1969 and served in the U.S. Navy.

He had worked as a machinist and welder for TR & H Inc. in Norway for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 82 in Norway. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved cutting wood.

He is survived by his son, Kirk Skinner and his wife, Ann; his daughter, JoAnna McKay and her husband, Mark; his son, Wade Skinner and his wife, Trisha; two grandchildren, Nathan and Erin Skinner; his siblings, Penny and Stanley Merrill, Mel and Lloyd Carver, Jim and Ronda Tibbetts, Vicki King, Jerry Skinner and Marcia Libby, Alan and Judy Skinner and Debbie Skinner; his stepfather, George Tibbetts Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Linda A. Skinner, in 2007; his father; and his mother.
