LEWISTON — Lucille Baillargeon, 88, formerly of 942 College Road in Lewiston, died Saturday, Dec. 2, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with her loving family at her side. She was born in Lewiston on Jan. 3, 1929, a daughter of the late Albanie and Marie (Poulin) Dubois. She was educated in local schools and was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Parish.

Lucille was a loving wife to her husband, Robert, for 67 years. Family was very important to her and she loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and loved to cook for family gatherings. She also enjoyed gardening, canning, feeding her birds, animals, reading, playing beano and traveling to Europe with her husband.

She is survived by her children, Diane Baillargeon of Madison, Wis., and Paul Baillargeon and his wife, Ellen of Lewiston; and two grandchildren, Amy and Tracy Baillargeon of Lewiston. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; and a brother, Robert Dubois.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at St. Mary’s ICU, d’Youville and the Chapman House for taking care of Lucille.
