LEWISTON — Theresa R. Gemme, 80, a resident of Main Street, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Dec. 4, at her residence.

She was born in Augusta July 21, 1937, the daughter of Alphonse and Laura (Baker) Veilleux.

Theresa was employed for many years in the local shoe industry as a stitcher. Following her retirement she enjoyed travelling and spending time with her family.

Survivors include one son, Paul Gemme and companion, Linda Theberge; two brothers, Robert and Paul Veilleux; two sisters, Donna and Connie; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul Gemme, in 1986.
