FARMINGTON — Old South First Congregational Church will serve its monthly community luncheon with American chop suey at noon on Saturday, Dec. 9.

Delivery service will be available in Farmington.

LEWISTON — Calvary United Methodist Church will have its monthly bean supper at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9.

Those attending should use the garden entrance on Bartlett Street.

Cost: $8 for adults, $3 for children.

LIVERMORE FALLS — Emmanuel Assembly of God monthly luncheons with soups, casseroles and salads are served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second Saturday of the month at the American Legion Hall, 17 Reynolds Ave.

The next luncheon will be Dec. 9.

The lunch is open to the public.

LISBON FALLS — The Knights of Columbus of Holy Trinity Church will serve a baked bean and casserole supper from 4:45 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the  parish hall, 67 Frost Hill Ave.

Cost: $8 for adults; $4 for children 12 and younger; $18 for families with children younger than 12.

MEXICO — Dirigo Region RSU No. 56 will host Breakfast with Santa Claus from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, in the Region 9 School of Applied Technology cafeteria.

There will be basket raffles and a ticket auction; winners do not need to be present to win. Santa and Mrs. Claus will take pictures with children. Proceeds will support Dirigo High School Class of 2021.

Cost: $5 per person. 

NEW SHARON — Maine Masonic Lodge will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9.

All attending will be asked to make a donation and bring a personal hygiene item to donate to the United Way.

Each hygiene item obtained will be matched by USA National Miss Maine Jr. Pine Tree State. Net proceeds from the spaghetti dinner will go to Crossroads Youth Center.

NORWAY — Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church and Norway Grange are serving community breakfasts from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturdays at the American Legion on Main Street across from Rowe School.

Cost: Free.

RUMFORD — The Beacon House will serve its annual spaghetti meal from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at 3 Canal St.

There will be a Chinese auction. Six tickets will cost $5 or one ticket will cost $1. There will be a big ticket raffle for a $150 gift card.

RUMFORD — Breakfast with Santa will be served from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, in the Mountain Valley High School cafeteria. 

For children, there will be time with Santa, face painting, crafts, cookie decoration and free story books. For the adults, there will be a 50/50 raffle, a cake auction and a silent auction. A ticket to the event is the entry to the raffle.

The snow date will be Sunday, Dec. 10.

Cost: $5.
