FARMINGTON — Annabelle G. Paradis, 89, of Jay, passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 13, at Orchard Park Rehabilitation and Living Center in Farmington. She was born Sept. 28, 1928, in Auburn, the daughter of Oliva Jean and Leda (Laliberte) Jean. She was a graduate of Lewiston High School. On Feb. 27, 1954, at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Lewiston, she married her husband of 63 years, Normand Paradis, of Livermore Falls. They made their home and raised their family in Jay and enjoyed wintering at Surfside Beach in South Carolina. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. Annabelle was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and took great pride caring for her family and home.
She is survived by her husband, Normand Paradis, of Jay; her sons, Carey Alfred Paradis and his wife, Loraine of Skowhegan, Richard Paradis and his wife, Cyndy of Turner, and Darian Paradis and his wife, Tammy of Jay; and her daughter, Diane Berry and her husband, Randy of Livermore; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her infant son, Carey Normand Paradis; her sisters, Rita Castonguay, Beatrice Gallant, Lucille Cusson and Clemence Moreau; and brothers, Roger and Roland Jean.
