LEWISTON — Carol L. Michaud, 66, of Leeds, passed away in her husband’s arms at CMMC in Lewiston on Friday, Dec. 15.

She was born Nov. 22, 1951, daughter of Kenneth and Shirley (Campbell) Mann of Monmouth.

On July 22, 1968, she married Lionel J. Michaud, of Auburn. Together they had two children. She worked many jobs as a laborer; a majority of those years she packed apples at Chick’s Orchards.

She enjoyed going out dancing and going to fairs with her husband, spending time with her grandchildren and was blessed to meet her great-grandson in April. She also loved playing cards with friends and family.

Carol is survived by her husband, Lionel of Leeds; daughter, Tina Booth and husband, Steven, of Sidney; son, Troy Michaud and wife, Christina, of North Monmouth; grandchildren, Lionel and wife, Emma Booth, of Manchester, Katrina Booth of Manchester and partner, Cabot Lancaster, Meagan Michaud and fiancé, Brandon Stratton, of Winthrop and Amber Michaud of North Monmouth; two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Jaxson Stratton; sisters, Gloria, Medora, Sandy and Fernie; special brother-in-law, George Michaud and wife, Donna, of Lyman; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents; and sisters, Gail, Connie and Kathy.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the medical staff that kept Carol comfortable in her final days.
