United New Auburn Assoc. meeting
AUBURN — The United New Auburn Association will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, at Rolly’s Dinner.
Ectoplasm workshop at Spiritualist Church
SABATTUS — The Rev. Lorraine Radice will conduct a workshop on ectoplasm from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, at the Spiritualist Church of Eternal Life, 352 Crowley Road.
The fee for the workshop is $20 per person.
Radice is a National Spiritualist Association of Churches licentiate minister, with more than 30 years of experience teaching and serving NSAC churches.
Participants will learn what ectoplasm is, how it is made, where it comes from and how it affects mediumship. Participants will also find out about the different types of ectoplasm and their uses. There will be physical mediumship demonstrations.

Pickwick Club reading ‘Dombey and Son’
AUBURN — The Pickwick Club, Maine’s Charles Dickens and other Victorians reading and discussion group, will meet from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Auburn Library.
The group will discuss the second half of Dickens’ “Dombey and Son.” Moderators will be Lincoln Ladd and Alexis DesRoches.
An organizational meeting will follow from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
