A van headed north on Allen Pond Road in Greene, north of Route 202, around noon Tuesday ended up in a snowbank. Several people stopped to offer help and direct traffic, while others consoled a baby and a toddler in the back seat. An unidentified member of the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office helped remove the children. No injuries were reported. No other information was immediately available. (Jason Gibbons photo)
