NORWAY — Larry W. McAllister Sr., 73, of South Paris passed away on Monday, Dec. 25, at Stephens Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born in Lovell on March 6, 1944, the son of Carroll W. and Edith Louise Smith McAllister. He had been employed at C.N. Brown for 45 years as a mechanic, clean-up and pump installer.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting rabbits with his dog, Harley, and his nephew and spending time with his family. He was assistant coach for a local baseball team. He is survived by his siblings: Kay Drisko, Pauline Doucette and Carolyn McAllister; his former wife, Sandra McAllister; his children: David McAllister and wife, Carol; Samantha Buck and husband, Alden; Rose-Marie Buker and husband, Scott; Karol Fernandes and husband, Domnic; and Larry McAllister Jr.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a special niece, Stacey Hodsdon and her family; a special nephew, Earl McAllister Jr. and his family; his dog, Harley; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, C. Watson McAllister and Earl McAllister Sr.; his sister, Barbara Chapman; and his father-in-law, David LaBrecque.
