NORWAY — Theresa A. Kimball, 88, a resident of Hartford, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Stevens Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 2, 1929, in Hershey, Maine, the daughter of Arvill Gerow and Helen (Wellington) Gerow. She graduated from Portland School for the Deaf. On May 16, 1957, she married Philip Allen Kimball. Theresa enjoyed being a housewife and raising her children.

She is survived by her daughters: Phyllis Holt and husband, Marc, of Hartford; Philona Elliott and husband, Augustus, of Canton; Philippa True and husband, Timothy, of Hartford; and Phila Mukherjee and her husband, Shankar, of Cupertino, Calif.; her sons: Philibert Kimball and wife, Brenda, of Hartford and Philemon Kimball and wife, Vickie Lynn, of Hartford; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, including “Poppy,” who is due to arrive in March; sisters: Joanne Greenleaf, Bonnie Thiboutot and Lorraine River; and her brother, Parker Gerow. She was predeceased by her husband, Philip, in 1987; her son, “Little Phil” Jr., in 1994; brothers and sisters: Bina Gerow-Jones, Mickey Hart, Frances Ordway, Lawrence Gerow and Billy Gerow.
