Friday, Dec. 29, The Juke Joint Devils will perform at Guthries in Lewiston. The Juke Joint Devils play an energetic, swinging blues that isn’t heard much these days. It’s a foot-stomping, hip-shaking genre that harkens back to that swampy, riffy, rocky sound people heard it noisy bars. The band features International Blues Challenge finalists Tommy O’Connell, above, on harp and vocals, Mike Murphy on drums, Gerry Burn on standup bass and George Stamboulis on guitar.
