WEST PARIS — The Mollyockett Chapter of Trout Unlimited will hold its annual banquet from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, at the Crosstone Restaurant in the Mollyockett Motel, Route 26.

During the evening there will be door prizes and a silent auction, the Mollyockett ghost streamer fly design contest and dinner.

Following the meal, chapter President Mac McGinley will make a short presentation on the accomplishments and future plans of the chapter, followed by a presentation on fly fishing the seasons in Maine by guide, instructor, writer, columnist and fly fishing blogger Lou Zambello, author of “The Fly Fishers Guide to New England” and “Fly Fishing Northern New England’s Seasons.”

Meal choices are baked haddock or beef tips with choice of starch and vegetables for $15.99 a person; dessert is optional at extra charge.

Reservations and meal selection must be made not later than Monday, Jan. 8. Snow date for the event is Thursday, Jan. 18.
