WEATHERFORD, TX — Michael Richard Chateauvert, 62, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away Friday, Dec. 29, at his residence.
Mike was born April 7, 1955 in Lewiston, to Richard Chateauvert and Georgianna King Chateauvert. He proudly served six years in the U.S. Army.
Mike was a construction worker who after retirement began working for the Brock Independent School District. He will be remembered for his humor, giving heart, honesty and candid personality.
Mike is preceded in death by his brother, James Chateauvert; sister, Pam Barker; and a niece, Jeanie Hallowell.
He is survived by his father, Richard Chateauvert of Greene; mother, Georgianna Baril and husband, Larry, of Auburn; brother, Brian Chateauvert and wife, Janemari, of Wilbraham, Mass.; sister, Karen Flagg of Leeds; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and a host of good friends whom Mike considered family.
