The following closures have been announced for Thursday due to Thursday’s storm:

* The Lewiston Public Library

* Lewiston government offices will close at 11 a.m.

* Auburn City Hall will close at 11 a.m. and reopen at 8 a.m. Friday. Includes Auburn Rec Department.

* The city of Auburn has issued a parking ban beginning Thursday at 9 a.m., ending Friday at 9 a.m. The city has a Business Parking District where vehicles are allowed to park until 11 p.m. (See map on the city’s home page for details.)

* The city of Lewiston has issued a parking ban beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday until 7 a.m. Friday.

* The Hasty Community Center at the Auburn Recreation Department will close at 11 a.m. and will reopen Friday and Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Residents are welcome to stop in during those hours to warm up, charge devices, shower (bring your own towels, etc.), fill water jugs, etc.

* Portland Jetport canceled all departures for Thursday and have canceled seven of 35 departures for Friday.

* Amtrak Downeaster announced it canceled trains 685 and 688, but all other trains are scheduled to operate Thursday. Amtrak officials warned travelers to expect delays.

* Concord Coach Lines canceled all bus service from Maine, New Hampshire, Boston and New York on Thursday.

* Greyhound has canceled service in Maine between midnight Thursday through 8 a.m. Friday.

* Thursday night’s Boston Bruins game at T.D. Garden vs. the Florida Panthers has been postponed. 

* Oxford Town Office closed it doors at noon. A special town meeting on a retail pot moratorium set for Thursday night has been rescheduled along with the selectmen’s regularly scheduled meeting.

* Superior courts in Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties are closed all day Thursday. District courts in Bridgton, Farmington, Lewiston, Rumford and South Paris also are closed. The violations bureau in Lewiston is closed.
