CANTON — Ellen S. Granet, 67, of Canton, passed away Monday, Dec. 25, at Pinnacle Health and Rehab in Canton. She was born in Lewiston on Feb. 26, 1950, the daughter of the late Isaac and Dorothy (Gurwitz) Alpert.
She attended local schools, graduating from Edward Little High School and then attended The New School for Social Research in New York City. Ellen was married to Roger Granet. She was a self-employed business owner in the gift and antique business. She enjoyed frequenting yard sales, flea markets and other antiques stores. She also enjoyed animals and watching birds and wildlife.
Ellen is survived by her husband, Roger Granet, of Wilton; her daughter, Ilyse Sheppard, and husband, Harry, of Kalispell, Mont.; and many cousins.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Jason.
