Mahoosuc Land Trust begins speaker series
BETHEL — The Mahoosuc Land Trust will kick off its 2018 speaker series at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, at the McLaughlin Auditorium, Church Street.
The topic will be “A Day in the Life of an Adaptive Athlete.”

Food forest topic of meeting
FARMINGTON — Farmington Grange No. 12, will hold a meeting to discuss the feasibility of developing a food forest in Farmington and assign some tasks to those able to contribute time or resources toward this project.
The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at 4 Bridge St. It is a potluck, so those attending should bring a dish or dessert to share. Cider, tea and coffee will be available.

Historical society annual meeting
NEW GLOUCESTER — The annual meeting of the New Gloucester Historical Society will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at the New Gloucester Meeting House, at 383 Intervale Road, Route 231.
All members are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served.
