Greene Town Manager Tom Richmond will be contacting the State Department of Transportation and Maine Central Railroad this week to tell them that culverts over which each has jurisdiction need to be repaired. Selectmen and Richmond decided Monday night that these two culverts are not the responsibility of the town, as they are not on town property. Richmond also told selectmen that the town highway department crew will be focusing its efforts on cutting and clearing brush and patching roads until they are needed for snow removal.
