Orion Murray, sitting on Santa’s lap, receives an exploration kit from Santa and Mrs. Claus at Lisbon Post 158, American Legion, children’s Christmas party on Dec. 16. About 20 children and their parents and grandparents attended. Legionnaire Michelle Foss bought, wrapped and tagged presents and provided entertainment. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived in a Lisbon fire truck, the honks of which were hard to hear over the children yelling in excitement — then as Santa started passing out presents, the children hushed in order to hear their names called.
