LEWISTON — Richard D. Pepin, 67, of Lewiston, died Friday, Jan. 5, at his home. He was born Sept. 16, 1950, a son of Dominique and Marie Pepin. Richard was educated at Lewiston schools and received his master’s degree at the University of Southern Maine.

Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the 11th Cavalry Armored Division in Vietnam, as well as in Desert Storm, and was a member of the American Legion and the Health Club.

He enjoyed meeting friends for coffee and conversation. Richard also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and visited several states. He also liked spending time with his family. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement.

Richard was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Roger and Albert Pepin. Survivors include his sons, Chris and Eric Pepin, of Lewiston; and brothers, Larry Pepin, of Lewiston, Mark Pepin, of Lewiston; and sister, Elise Pepin, of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Grace, Jack, Elliot and Emerson Pepin; and several nieces and nephews; his best friend, Mike Morin; and special friend, Jackie Robert; and his dog, Angus.
