TOPSHAM — Joseph F. Bartos III, 59, died at his home after a long illness Tuesday, Jan. 9. He was born April 5, 1958 in Bath, a son of Joseph F. Jr. and Barbara Barrows Bartos. He grew up in the Lisbon area, graduating from Lisbon High School. He had been a longtime employee at Phillips Element, Lewiston.
He is survived by his father, Joseph F. Bartos Jr. of Bingham; a brother, Robert E. Bartos of Bath; three sisters, Patti Jean Bartos of Topsham, Vicki Lynn MacLean of Salem, Mass., and Trudi Ann Grant of Florida; several aunts and uncles, Katherine Fortunato of Florida, Eva Stenick of Ossining, N.Y., Caroline Harper of Bossier City, La., and Victor and Sandra Bartos of Pleasant Valley, N.Y.; numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins.
