AUBURN — Raymonde G. Pouzol, 90, of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 15, at the Odd Fellows’ Home in Auburn, with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Lewiston on Feb. 18, 1927, the daughter of the late Marius and Alice (Beland) Pouzol. She grew up in the Lewiston area and attended Holy Cross Parochial School and was a graduate of Lewiston High School.
Prior to retirement, she was employed at Lown Shoe in Auburn for 25 years. She enjoyed knitting and making word search puzzles, and loved all animals. She liked to play softball and had been a coach for the St. Croix softball team and played softball for the Auburn Rec Dept.
She is survived by her many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her two brothers, Gerard and Joseph; and her sister, Marguerite.
