LEWISTON — Eugene Farrell, 74, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 17, at Central Maine Medical Center. He was born July 4, 1943, in Gardiner, to Doris and Arthur Farrell.

Eugene worked for many years at Harry Tisdale Auto in Gardiner until 1969 when he opened his own garage in Richmond. It was there he restored a 1930 Model A pickup, which was his pride and joy. He retired in 2015 and moved to Sabattus to live with his sister. He loved camping with family, Saturday nights at Wiscasset raceway and the family dinners out every Saturday night.

Eugene is survived by his sisters, Arlene Staples, Linda Duguay, Deborah Hardy, Cindy Hall and Laurie Farrell; a brother, Stephen Farrell; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He had many friends and was loved by all, especially his family.

He was predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Beverly Morse.
