LEWISTON — The Thomas Lahey Foundation has awarded scholarships to the following scholar-athletes from Lewiston High School, Edward Little High School and St. Dominic Academy:

• Craig Jipson, graduate of Edward Little High School and attending the University of Maine at Orono. He is the son of Craig and Missy Jipson.

• Caleigh Copeland, graduate of Edward Little High School and attending Simmons College. She is the daughter of Sherry Chabot and Shawn Copeland.

• Morgan Eliasen, graduate of Lewiston High School and attending the University of Southern Maine. She is the daughter of Daniel and Michelle Eliasen.

• Edward Turgeon, graduate of Lewiston High School and attending the University of Southern Maine. He is the son of Edward and Patricia Turgeon.

• Matthew Boulet, graduate of St. Dominic Academy and attending St. Anselm College. He is the son of James and Nicole Boulet.

• Sidney Sirois, graduate of St. Dominic Academy and attending the University of Southern Maine. She is the daughter of Lorrie and Christopher Sirois.

This is the 30th anniversary of the Thomas Lahey Foundation that was established to honor the memory of Thomas Lahey, an outstanding Lewiston High School athlete and successful businessman.

The purpose of the foundation is to assist local students in their academic and athletic endeavors.

Fundraisers scheduled for 2018 include a bowling tournament on Saturday, Jan. 27, and a golf tournament on Saturday, July 14.
