LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library, 56 Main St., has announced its February events.
Make Your Own Valentines Crafting Day: Drop in between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10. For anyone who wants to make unique valentines for the special people in their lives. There will be craft supplies available for people to create one-of-a-kind cards.
Preschool Story Time: 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays. Features stories, songs and activities for children and their parents. Story Time also features a craft that the child can make and take home.
LEGO Club: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17. This month’s challenge will be to create a boat that floats. Lego creations will be displayed in the library until the March meeting.
Knit/Crochet: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27. People who want to learn something new, or who just want to knit or crochet in good company, can stop by and make something warm for the cold winter months.
Book Group: 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8. This will be the group’s final meeting in its “Family Ties and Tales series.” Members will discuss “The Family Fang” by Kevin Wilson, a quirky tale about a family of performance artists. People who would like a copy of the latest book up for discussion should ask library staff. A new series, “She Persisted: Biographies of Great Women in History,” will start in March.
The library will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 20, in observance of Presidents Day.
For more information, call the library at 207-897-3631. The activities calendar can be picked up at the circulation desk.
