FARMINGTON — Selectmen unanimously agreed Thursday to appoint an interim Regional School Unit 9 director to serve until the end of June.
The appointee will succeed Ryan Morgan who resigned this month.
Anyone interested in serving as interim director is asked to notify the Town Office by the end of business Friday, Feb. 9. The board hopes to appoint someone at its Feb. 13 meeting.
The remaining two years of the term will be filled during the annual election March 26, prior to the town meeting. The person elected will begin serving July 1.
