Participants from the YMCA of Auburn-Lewiston’s Health & Wellness Pathfinders program toured the State House in Augusta on Jan. 22. The program’s mission is to expose seventh-, eighth- and ninth-graders to various careers in health and public safety while also teaching physical fitness, nutrition and outdoor skills with an emphasis on service learning. During their visit, the students, accompanied by Project Leader Tricia Grant and Jennifer Morin, Work with ME! coordinator at the Auburn Police Department, met with Sen. Eric Brakey, R-Androscoggin.
