NORWAY — The Advertiser Democrat and the Sun Journal will host a community meet-and-greet with editors, reporters and advertising representatives of Sun Media Group from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at Cafe Nomad, 450 Main St.
The Sun Media Group encourages readers and advertisers to attend to share their thoughts, concerns and suggestions for news coverage and newspaper services.
Advertiser Democrat Editor A.M. Sheehan said she suspects “some people may come with story ideas or questions as to why we aren’t covering something. That is what we hope for.”
Community newspapers “belong to the readers and with them, working side-by-side, we will only get better,” she said.
In addition to Sheehan, others scheduled to attend include staff writers Matt Daigle, Leslie Dixon and Adam Brown, Sun Journal Executive Editor Judith Meyer, Sun Journal Marketing Director Will Fessenden and SMG account representative Larry Baril.
The event is free; coffee will be served.
The Sun Journal will host similar meet-and-greet events in Farmington, Rumford and Lewiston this year.
