LEWISTON — Donald P. Roy, 86, of Lewiston, died Saturday, Jan. 27, at Russell Park Manor.

He was born in Augusta on Jan. 20, 1932, to Eugene and Mary Plante Roy. Donald graduated from Cony High School in 1951 and served in the U.S. Army in Korea.

He then worked at Sikorsky Aircraft in Connecticut from 1965-1993.

Donald had a love of music, playing the piano, keyboard and harmonica.

He was an avid Red Sox fan. Donald was a member of Holy Family Church in Lewiston.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marie-Ange Pratt Roy (whom he married on May 31, 1954); a son, Andre; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters, Juliette Brawn and husband, Donald, of Augusta, and Ruth Plummer of Missouri; many nieces and nephews.

Donald was predeceased by his brothers, Roland, Romain, Gilbert, Gerard, Richard and Lionel; and a sister, Carmel.
